Switches are used for behavior control, development of cause and effect skills or by people with motor control difficulties for accessing the computer.
There are various types of switch in different shapes, sizes and colors. Some can be activated by very light pressure, while others require a lot of pressure. They can be activated by hand, foot, finger, chin, head etc. and each user can select a switch to suit his/her needs and abilities.
Some people prefer light pressure switches, while others prefer heavy pressure switches to avoid unwanted clicks.
Most switches, including this one, doesn’t connect directly on the computer. It connects to a computer switch interface, which can get connected to a computer through a USB port.
Finger switch is a very light and small switch which is attached around the user’s finger with adhesive Velcro tape. It is activated by finger pressing.
