Description
The Iris Bond is a device, which helps people with nonverbal communication and minimum movement to control a computer or access a communication software. It is a camera which connects on the computer and after installing the included software, it can detect the user’s gaze. All the user has to do is look at a spot on the screen and the device moves the cursor to that point.
Using this system, the user can access his computer to browse the internet or launch programs. It can also be used with a communication program (Mind Express 4), to speak on behalf of the user. We usually create a personalized grid on the computer with messages the user needs. All he has to do is look at them to hear the message and let other people know what he wants.
