Discription
Bilingual Dictionary for the Talking Pen looks like a normal dictionary with text and images to help students learn basic words. But, with the Talking Pen (not included) this dictionary becomes a Talking Dictionary. Just place your pen over the words of the dictionary and it will read them in both languages (English and language of your choice) and also it will say a sentence including the word in English. You can also record one recording of your own in each page.
It is ideal for young children as a first introduction to the English language. It is a fun way of learning a new language and at the same time it provides instant feedback. The student sees the pictures, says the words in both languages and can also listen to them to check his answer or the word’s pronunciation. He can also record his own voice saying the words and compare them with the book’s recordings.
The dictionary has 34 units:
Myself, Clothes, Family, Home, House and Contents, Fruit, Vegetables, Food and Drink, Meal Time, Town, High Street, Road Safety, Transport, Farm Animals, Wild Animals, Seaside, Playground, Classroom, School Bag, Computers, Dressing, Up, Toys and Games, Sport, Music, Space, Weather, Months of the Year, Seasons, Days of The Week, Telling the Time, Colours, Shapes, Numbers 1-20, Opposites.
